You’re right Bob. I’m not extending my opinion out to all women, but many do have the silent expectation of being with a man who regulates himself emotionally and guards his weaknesses. In my experience, that wall we put up is intriguing to women until it comes down, then it’s much like revealing how a magic trick is done because there’s little mystique left.
Some women are wise and compassionate enough to welcome and respect vulnerability and weakness, however it seems that perception is more important these days than substance. The illusion is often preferred to reality, at least as far as younger less mature women goes.
