What do you think such events are triggered by? I’ve heard a theory that our timeline “ended” and we migrated to a similar version of planet Earth with certain details not all accounted for or exactly as we remember them to be.

Since there was a “merge” we have memory of where we were, and these discrepancies signal to the possibility that this isn’t actually where we once lived. Close, but not quite.

If that’s the truth, then the implications are interesting. How did we migrate over? What was responsible for the move? Then you can postulate it was aliens or interdimensional beings, angels, God, etc. Could well point to the validity of simulation theory.
