Okay, I’m done. I was a loyal reader of Caitlin for years and greatly valued her opinion.

There’s no way Caitlin isn’t judging the current administration by the sins of the previous. She is NOT stupid enough to be ignorant of the fact that President Trump did NOT ship those jobs overseas.

And Caitlin certainly cannot be ignorant enough to be ignoring how the President has been LOUDLY advocating for manufacturing to return to America in the past few days, weeks, months and years AND has taken SEVERAL steps to do so. Not merely by slapping tariffs on China or negotiating a trade agreement that favors American taxpayers, but also encouraging and restructuring an entirely new supply chain that is not going to be highly dependent upon China for essential items. Such as medicine, semiconductors and military/telecommunications hardware.

Caitlin certainly cannot be THAT ignorant in pretending that these inconvenient facts do not exist to disrupt her Anti-American imperialism narrative with.

Or is she that ignorant?

This article is one of enough pieces of evidence for me to accept that yes, she is wilfully or unintentionally dismissive of what the Trump administration has achieved, is achieving and will continue to achieve.

This is no longer a voice I trust.
