I was thinking earlier this morning about the (potential) hierarchical nature of spirit in that perhaps “As above, so below” can be taken to mean that our own systems of hierarchy may well be reflective of the way “God” and the cosmos is structured. For the longest time I’ve wondered if perhaps God is much like a CEO with lesser spirits and/or processes responsible for governing certain aspects of reality.

Lord Ganesha is known as the remover of obstacles, for instance, and Hinduism offers a specific God to appeal towards in wanting to accomplish a specific purpose.
It seems that there is truth in old ideas that have been distorted and misinterpreted over time.
