Now that’s figured out, I wonder how one could find the right occupation to maximize pleasure inside of. The sad reality of going to school and incurring debt in order to find work that ends up being unrewarding and not at all as expected — is disheartening to witness.

I think we could go a long ways with early “trial” jobs and shadowing employees in whatever field we might be interested in before deciding to commit our time, energy and dreams. That would make quite a difference for kids who are unsure of what to do after high school ends.
