And this concludes my reading of your series. Whew! Been a heck of a ride.
I’ve once reached the same conclusion as you did, Chris. The rabbit hole never seems to end, but that’s only from a certain perspective and with a particular goal in mind (more knowledge — increased likelihood of finding the “answers”).
Once you reframe your notion of what Truth has to look like, it then becomes obvious and no further searching is needed. Everything else is detail and serves as a distraction.
You commented on the article that I wrote in which I described 5 universal principles. I believe those are “true” and worth aiming for. I believe those are what makes up the purpose for existence. I also believe that honoring each of those principles is what humanity needs in order to extricate itself.
Like you, I’ve gone down plenty of rabbit holes, and I discovered after much exhaustion and frustration that I knew the truth the entire time. Maybe I don’t know for sure if aliens exist, but I’m pretty confident they do and that’s good enough for me to feel satisfied. I don’t need to keep exploring and trying to validate my beliefs.
So it is with Truth. If you want to see clearly out the window of our boxes, it’s best to clean the glass and remove the curtains. But once you do, then what?
And this is where I think a lot of people get hung up. They know the Truth but are uncertain what to do with it. So, they ignore it, or they keep searching to validate their perspective because it can’t be that simple and yet, it is.
Good series. Thanks for inspiring me to go on a few rants 😄 Hope I didn’t overwhelm you with all of my comments today.
Looking forward to reading more from you. You’re good at what you do.
